It's a lot of trouble. I'll be getting my Chick Fil A sandwich on my outing tomorrow. I plan to pick up a cup of chicken salad while I'm there. Ever tried it?

Make it same as tuna salad except replace chicken with tuna.
Chik Fil A is ok but too expensive and all the ones around here
have a line wrapped around the building.

Make it same as tuna salad except replace chicken with tuna.
Chik Fil A is ok but too expensive and all the ones around here
have a line wrapped around the building. I was headed that way anyway. I go at least once a week. I don't keep celery at home. I got this large tub for $5. It will make at least five sandwiches for me.

We love it. Sometimes we will either boil or bake our chicken for it and then other times we will get a regular roasted rotisserie chicken from Wal-Mart or HEB and make it out of them which is excellent every time. We add eggs, celery and onion along with black olives for the wife and I.

I leave out the eggs, onions and celery and replace with seedless grapes (cut in half), granny smith apples diced and chopped pecans mixed with the chicken and miracle whip.

Had Chick-fil-a the first time tonight, not good.
Mine is way better
Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store
2 sticks Finely chopped celery
About 2 cups Red seedless grapes cut in half
About a cup of pecan pieces
Just enough Helman's to stick it together and some cracked black pepper
On a side note, if you'll wash your extra celery, wrap it in a paper towel then wrap it up good and tight in foil, it will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge.

H-E-B Deli makes the best chicken salad. Have to agree with that. You guys talked me into trying it. The chunks were at least a half inch thick with some gristle. I'll finish the half pound but go back to Chick F Lay.

On my way back from Jacksboro I often stop at the 1 Stop store in Runaway Bay, they makes great C.S. I have them make me a sammich on toasted wheat with onions, lettuce and tomatoes, buddy it is way good
