I thought it would be a cool gesture to start this thread and anyone who has purchased a knife from him could post pics and details of their knives as well.

The story behind these two knives is....

When my son Jaxton was 3 I took him with me out on Ft Hood to fill a feeder and check a couple pig pipes. As soon as we pull up to the first spot I spot an odd shaped shed it was basically one long spike with a couple real short nubs coming off it but had good mass. My first thought was dang my first shed with my boy with me then I thought I bet I can have a couple small knives made using the shed as handle material. I wanted two pretty much identical knives and posted on the forum asking who would be interested in making them for me and BillyBob was the first to PM me. I sent him the shed and we worked out a few details including having my sons name engraved on his knife and BillyBob said payment would be due when knives were completed. The knives took quite a while as BillyBob was dealing with some medical issues I believe related to diabetes. Once they were done he asked me for my address which I gave him then I asked how he would like to be paid and he said these knives are on me, I hope you and the boy get a lot of use and joy from them over the years. I insisted I wanted to pay him for his services but he said absolutely not and he said from one old vet to another vet thank you for your service and these knives are my way of saying thank you. To me that meant the world coming from a Vietnam veteran bc I think the absolute world of them. These knives will never leave my family as long as I am here on this earth and I can't wait to see my son gut his first deer with BillyBob's knife.

So if you have a knife made by him post em up if not and you have a story you would like to share post it up as well.

Unfortunately I don't have one of his knives, but this is a great tribute to him and on an appropriate day. RIP BillyBob.
