Especially work days it is nice to have some quick meals that the whole household
likes to make for dinner. Share some here if you'd like.

Had one of our favorites last night, it is a Go To for us.

2 lbs small red potatoes
Cut in half or quarters (depending on size)
Coat in olive oil
Place on sheet pan, salt & pepper to taste
Bake in oven 425 deg F for 20 to 25 minutes.

While potatoes cook:

In an appropriate sized sauce pot combine
1 lb or so sliced smoked sausage (bite sized).
We use venison while we have it but for truly inexpensive store bought is good.
2 regular cans Ranch Style beans.
Heat over medium flame, bring to bubbling but not too long as sausage casing can get tough.

This should feed at least 4 regular servings.
If you must have something green on your plate,
bread & butter pickles are my favorite.

Cheap & easy or not we really like this for a weekday dinner.
That said, it's really not something you'd take a pic of so don't ask.

What you got?

Put a package of onion soup mix on the potatoes. Think me later.

I think almost all of the meals I make fit that category haha.

The biggest thing for us for quick meals is setting out whatever meat we are going to use so it is thawed when I need to start working with it.

Some of our normal rotation are
-meat patties either pan fried or grilled with onions and brown gravy
-Spaghetti and meat balls jarred sauce and meatballs is just like making meatloaf with different seasonings and will bake in 20 minutes.
-Super easy is soft or crispy tacos with box o rice a roni Mexican rice and can of refried black beans.
-I have a counter top fryer so fried fish (if thawed) is a pretty quick meal as well.
