The big house is where I live now but the white metal cabin use to be my weekend hunting cabin before I moved to the ranch.

This was my setup a couple years ago while mule deer hunting in New Mexico. It got the job done and most nights I was so tired I probably could have slept on a rock and not cared.  However, this year I stepped up a little in the comfort category with a canvas wall tent. This thing is like staying in a hotel on the mountain. It got used for an elk hunt, two mule deer hunts as well as some other odds and ends outings.  great looking camp, I could handle that

Here's my NM Elk camp, quite comfortable:  This will forever be my favorite TX deer camp, a one room tin cabin from the old place. So many great memories there. It had electric, AC/Heat, and hot water. Felt like we were living large.   These days our current lease is a full-on 3 BR house with all kinds of luxuries, but I'd still trade it for a small cabin back in the woods.

One for a cabin and one for a garage. Still working on the build out inside. I'll post pics when it's done. But when I'm not there, it'll look like this.  Thanks!! Matt
