Last Oct my wife and I, along with several friends returned to Kosse Texas to hunt with Double K Outfitters. Double K is ran by Kelly Bounds and his wife Katrina Bounds. I have been going here (at least) once a year for the last 4 years. Over the seasons my wi8fe and I have take 3 axis and 3 fallow. Other friends have taken aoudad, sika blackbuck and even 2 red stags along with countless hogs. Kelly and his wife have always treated us and any other hunters we bring like old friends. Every year my good friend (also from Washington)that lives in Franklin comes and stays at least one evening with us. This has become very much like a home away from home. The hunting lodge is extremely comfortable and has one main bedroom and 2 additional bunk rooms that can sleep 10 people or more. What we have always liked is Kelly only hunts 1 group at a time. You never feel rushed and he has ZERO pressure. If you don't see the animal you want, you will NEVER feel pressured to shoot. Looks like a great time

It really was. I always enjoy my time spent in the field, but when I can share that time with my wife, it is second to nothing. Really looking forward to getting her back out again this season. She wants to "try" and take a big axis (big by Washington standards, 28 inch or better) or a scimitar horned oryx.
