meh... think of how much someone would normally spend getting a roof/windshield/bumper/winch/rims/tires would be about the same cost...... accessories eat up $ pretty quick.. they offer those style cabs for a lot of brands iv seen one on a Mahindra and its pretty sweet

The nicest one I've seen was built by Cline Strickland in Weatherford.

I worked in one of the largest bike/SxS/ATV dealerships in the Austin area for a few years selling parts. We sold a ton of accessories anytime someone would come in buying a new SxS or bike. It's ungodly what people will spend and put on their toys. I guess I've always just been a more practical buyer, not saying a full cab isn't practical in some situations, but I'm also cheap on a lot of things, while other things are the "buy once, cry once" scenario. I actually walked in there last weekend picking up some stuff for my mule and they had a $5,000 roof on a Pro Fx. Don't get me wrong, that thing was bada$$$ but way overkill for the coolness factor.

Yup they have a place... $ rules all though lol I couldn't afford a cab its a big cost up front... but for a lot of situations I can find the merit in a cab like that before big tires, lift, snorkel and coated frame parts lol all that stuff I see go on these UTV and see some double the money in accessories that are basically worth nothing on resale..

I hear you loud and clear. This particular roof had the whole sound system installed in it, with colored led rings around each speaker. LED light bars all the way around the whole roof..literally 360 degree lighting with Rigid Industries bars. 6" long arm lift with 32" tires. The add-ons cost nearly as much as a stock rig.
OP, sorry I can help on the roof. I have heard that if you go with metal roofs, check to see if the dump bed will clear. Some models will not allow the dump bed to dump, as it will hit. I could be off, but I think someone had Ramball on here (I think that's who made it) make them a roof. Not sure if it was a mule pro or not, but whoever built it, did a great job. One thing I learned on the wooden one I built for my 3010 trans is to build some sort of a lip/gutter on the front edge of it. If its raining and you come to a stop, without a windshield, it'll all end up running off the roof to the hood and in your lap.

Dang, the price of the sxs plus roof plus this plus that. I could buy a good jeep or 4x4.

Yep. The cab is a bit more than what I'm looking for. Lol. Also some tips will allow you to dump but only with the back seat down.

Triple C in Cleburne will custom build you one with light bars built into it. Super nice and very high quality.

I ended up going with the Fortess low profile metal top. They just came out with one that part of the rear is hinged so you can flip it up and dump full bed if you needed to. Then went with the superATV flip up/gas piston operated windshield. Did quite a bit of research on them. Its worth it to me to have at 4 am during deer season when I'm driving out to the blind in a good cold rain.

Sorry. Couldn't figure out how to rotate one of the images. The top is very solid and an easy install. I actually ended up going with the solid piece. The light bar went on afterwards and was an easy install as well.

Should be adding the windshield tonight. I ordered the SuperATV flip up windshield. www.superatv.com. I did a lot of research and like the look and functionality.

That looks like a good stout one and probably can pull it fast as need be! Does the metal top have a lip on the front to keep the water from coming in on you?

Where did you get that? What's the price? I hate the one that came on mine.... the small flip up on the bottom is terrible
Big ones line-up, little ones bunch-up

I purchased it at www.superatv.com. If you order one and there are no instructions don't fret. You have to go to their website and they are posted there. Pretty easy to put together. It was $499.95 and well worth it. I was looking at a couple of other flip up styles and they were about $750.00 plus I didn't like the way they look. I am happy with my purchase.

How loose are those latches when the window is open? Do they flop around?

I like the flip over better than the raise windshields... they are stout but still worries me

The latches are spring tensioned and hold good. No flopping or movement at all. The gas shocks are good quality. I had an Essex Mfg. heavy DOT glass on my 3010 Mule and never had an ounce of trouble. I will make sure the windshield is flipped down while hauling on a trailer.
