Any bottled fed male animal is dangerous. Especially ones with horns or antlers. If I have to raise any I tell who ever I sell them to to be careful with them. Do not turn your back on them. Do not try to make pets out of them. Get them harvested as soon as possible. They will hurt you. Very sad deal, prayers to the Talley family. Don is spot on about bottle fed animals (even domesticated ones such as sheep).

Sad story. We get people who like to feed Black Bears and get attached to them like they were their pets. One lady near our home was well known for hand feeding bears. She had sows with cubs as well as some good sized boars visiting her place like clock work to get free handouts. Over the years she even had a few den under her cabin during their winter hibernation. they wont have far to go to get a meal

Sorry to hear about this. I have a friend that raises whitetails and one of his younger bucks attacked him. The buck became aggressive, and cornered him in the pen, then stuck him in his gut and got him on the ground. Fortunately, nothing vital was damaged and he was able to get out and to the hospital on his own. He didn't blame the deer for the attack, but did sell him to a ranch soon afterwards.

I, personally, carry a pistol every time I'm around close to animals. I'd much rather shoot an animal than be attacked.
Very sad case here. Beautiful family, I feel terrible for them.
