I just picked up an FNH FNS9. With it being fully ambi and having some good reviews I figured it was worth taking a chance on. Hopefully there will be more after market products hitting for this line soon but I am very happy with it's stock configuration for now.

I think I'm doing the same thing. Early reviews are very promising.

I ordered 2 mec gar mags. One flush 18 rounds and one 20 rounds.
Both mags are cheap and absolutely reliable.
I'm starting to really like that P226.

I think for home home defense I'll replace the G26/G19 mag (and Xgrip), with the P226 and the Mec Gar 20 round mag.

I mostly carry the Kahr CM with a spare mag (I don't really like the long take up of the trigger, but for some reason I'm VERY accurate with the CM9). Going forward, I might not have too much use for the G26...

QUick update on this. Many of you praised about the PPQ's awesome trigger. I tried it today and I wasn't impressed. It nice. It's better (1lb lighter) than a factory Glock. But on my G35, I have put a Zev 2lb connector for $15 and the overall result is better than the PPQ.

Regarding the P226, I do like it but I get the impression that the Glock is a faster gun. It might just be training issue.

Do they still make the Browning high power?

A buddy had a Colt 1911 9mm that was sweet. He sold/traded it back in 1982 and he has regretted it ever since.
I've shot a couple Hi Powers and it's one of the few guns I might opt for instead of my Para P-14 .45.

If i was going to spend $1,000.00 on a new 9mm it would be the Springfield EMP. Hands down.
