My father shot a buck with his .270. When he went to retrieve the deer after waiting 30 minutes, he found a hog eating his deer.

Can't really blame the coyotes for eating a free meal that sat out all night. That said I love calling predators and shoot them every chance I get.

Whacked 5 of them in Bee County last weekend. Set deer carcass pile in Sendero, 20 minutes they kept coming. I kept whacking. Supressors are king

Doing what they were born to do, take out the weak and injured. Meat would have been ruined anyway. Top predator failed. Secondary predator probably finished the job. Everything has its place. Population control is fine though.
I'll take a Black Female every time.

Population control is fine though. What if there are no weak and injured? That weak and injured excuse is a feel good thing. I live out here in the real world and see first hand what coyotes do.

I have shot 3 off the patio this week, I am on 1,000 acres and they are a huge problem out here.
pigs/yotes are shot on sight and I try to see them often.

Shot one this morning.  He had somehow been lucky enough to get out a snare (see injury on neck).  But 'unlucky' to have walked into a 7mm bullet.
