Eckermann's Meat Market: https://eckermanns.com/; 2543 FM 1457, New Ulm, TX 78940 (They are actually between Industry and Shelby)

Eckermann's does awesome work for a good price and their sausage recipes are the best around.

I have used lots of ar 15 scope in my life. If you want accuracy then you https://totalguide.org/best-ar-15-scope/ should buy ar 15 scope.

Not sure if anyone has added these, but I use Cox's in Comanche county, and Klein's in Pflugerville. Get German hot links at both. Hope you like em spicy.

There's only 2 seasons in a year. Deer season and getting ready for deer season.

I learned to do it for myself 6 or seven years back, very rewarding going from field to table with only my hands involved. Makes up for the occasional goof!

I go to Wild Country Game Processing, in Lindsey, TX (just east of Muenster). All the hunters taking their deer to muenster should try Wild Country in the next town over. Eric's shop has a great operation for a smaller processor.

Anyone know any meat processors or butchers in Aubrey, Denton, Or Little Elm, Texas?

There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

Been trying to make sense of this list and struggling. Been using Joshua Deer Processing and love the quality and flavor.

but, I have a new lease south of Cross Plains, TX. Any suggestions in the area for a hot day or a long weekend hunt? Good local processor would be a good thing to have.

Looked online and found a few:
B&R Deer Processing - Early
Ted's Deer Processing - Early
Santa Anna Custom Meats - Santa Anna
The butcher Block - Cross Plains
Hall's custom meats - Coleman
Does anyone have any experience with these, good or bad?

Truly appreciate any advice.

Robert

The Butcher Block in CP does a really good job, but my hunting bud took one in last season, seemed fairly expensive but he had quite a bit of jerky made. Call em: (254) 725-4035 https://www.facebook.com/thebutcherblockcrossplains

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.
