Busted up 12, now 4, just ran through like he stole something. Would have been a great buck had he not been so busted up. Have seen him several times now.

nope had 3 coming in then they started acting funny and bolted I was gonna take the biggest if they gave me a shot. Only had about 15 min of light left and nothing else came in but I could hear what sounded like a buck taking out some frustration on a tree in the direction the doe ran from. So once again I watched my steaks run away haha

Didn't shoot anything. Had a bunch of doe with babies again and just the busted up buck was out. No rut action tonight. With these doe and babies, the rut action may pick up later in November or even be spread out more than a show of rut....young county.

Sapper where do you think we are in the rut around here? Sorry you missed out on some steaks

I have a lot of deer behind my house and I haven't seen them chasing at all like usual also haven't seen much rut action on Ft Hood minus a little pre rut stuff. Last year they were full blown rutting 2nd week of November this yr I think it either gonna start later or all the action has been at night with this giant moon.

Ya I haven't noticed them running after the doe either. I am seeing more bucks but not anytime around when the doe are there and this includes cam pics at night. The only sign I have seen is the increase of dead deer on the side of the road and figured it was because bucks are chasing.

Back at this evening and tomorrow morning. Jumped a bo bodied deer on the way to the stand but couldn't see the head I'm assuming it was a buck

I'll just be happy if I see some activity, not shooting a doe yet but would t mind just seeing some after my last couple of sits
