 Is anyone hunting on the Davy Crocket National Forest?

My son wants him and I to go hunting but we don't have a lease. I was wondering if anyone has hunted DCNF this year and if they are seeing many deer or sign? Any help would be appreciated.

I used to hunt there years ago. It's a tough hunt but there are plenty of deer there. Be ready to walk a long ways to get to the deer.

Find where the deer are traveling and be patient. There are a lot of 2.5-4.5 year old bucks running around. And a whole lot of hogs
