I had a friend tell me he was going to beat the crud out of me as we were riding down the road. We had a little, wayyyyy too much man beverage. Welcome Gacman! The place we are staying is pirates cove condominiums. They have 2 and 3 bedroom town homes for rent. Slips are right up under neath each condo. They have water hose and cleaning stations at each. You can park up under the condo towards the front.

There are two members coming from Austin. Yall might know each other and possibly there is a carpool situation there.

Others that may want to join, could share condo expenses ect.

We are already on course for a great turn out.

1/4 mile away the good fishing starts. If you google earth Port Oconner there are two boat ramps in the town, both launch in the inter coastal. Froggy's is on the west end and the fishing center is on the east end. Straight across the east ramp is what is a cut called the boat lane. Just to the west of that ramp is a canal that goes up behind the condos. The condos have a brownish red color roof. From the cut through all of those mangrove islands is pristine fishing. If the weather is right, I would normally go through that cut and hang a right. That next 4 miles along that shoreline to the west is hard sand with some shell and grass patches. The last time we went down we never fished anything but that shoreline. Be it you're in a yak I am sure if you wanted to venture out further I would imagine anyone with a boat would have zero problem loading you up, dropping you off and picking you up. That's a standing offer from me already. I will screen shot a pic of the area and post it.
