Here's a couple more pics of the testing I've done. First one is the bullet fragments from the Hornady VMAX out of the 6PPC:  The next two pics are of the wound channel made by my 22 Hornet, using the same 40 grain Berger. Notice that the wound channel was longer but not nearly as large as the same bullet out of the .223. I can only guess that the Hornet, traveling much slower, didn't upset as much as the higher velocity .223. I would have expected it to be the reverse! (Shows how much I know about terminal ballistics!)
