I bought corn in Cross Plains this past weekend. I was surprised to find that the price had gone down since deer season ended. We paid $7.25 for 50lb bags at Lawerance Farm & Ranch.

What are the corn prices in your area? Where do you get your corn?

During deer season, we were paying $8.25 or $8.50. Where do you get it for $6.00?

I know that Shell station. They are always a lot higher than every where else on their corn prices. Doesn't seem to hurt them though. They always sell everything piled up in front.

As of this morning...
Jacksboro Feed Mill - $8.00/bag
H-Brand Livestock and Feed (Jacksboro) - $8.25/bag

These prices were quoted for a ton. Don't know if individual bag prices differ.

Paid $7.25 a bag in Shamrock for 50 #'s.
But listen to this I've got a buddy coming in this weekend so his son can turkey hunt. He's from Iowa and the corn is $4.75 for 50# and I'm having him bring all he can haul for that price.

Eastex,
Where in Gorman? I have never bought corn there but it could be on my way to my place if I take a small detour.

If you travel by Brownwood or hunt that area we were buying MR. Buck for 10.50 when the price at groomes in comanche was 13 or so dollars. They are about 2 to 3 or more dollars cheaper. Your buying from the Mill. Just look at your bag of corn where it came from.
