J.D. Patterson Ranch, in Aspermont, TX, is 18,000 acres of pristine wildlife habitat with terrain covering everything from thick oak brush to spacious, open fields, to deep canyons and draws. The ranch has been extensively managed for many years and is under MLD 3. We have several hunts available this year. Some of our packages are:
Trophy Whitetail includes: 3 day hunt, lodging, meals, guide, and a minimum of 1 doe. Deer will be 130" and up for $3000.
Management Whitetail includes: 3 day hunt, lodging, meals, guide, and a minimum of 1 doe. Deer will be 129" and below for $2000.
Doe/Meat hunts include: lodging and unlimited does for $500/weekend.
Hog hunts include: lodging and unlimited hogs for $450/weekend.
Dove hunts include: lodging and daily limit of birds for $275/day. You can bring your bird dogs.
Quail hunts include: 4 day hunt, lodging, meals, guide with trained dogs(welcome to bring your own dogs as well) for $750/day.

Our lodge, North Camp, is at the north end of the property and is a true diamond in the rough. The lodge has 5 rooms to sleep a total of 10 hunters at one time, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, vaulted ceilings over the kitchen, living room area, and dining room table, with old rustic tin and big cedar beams seen throughout. The original bunk house and basement are part of the charm and have been on the ranch for multiple generations. On site at North Camp is a clean, well lit cleaning facility with water and walk-in cold storage for all your game.

We are neighbors. I hunt the southwest corner of the Pitchfork and pass by your gate so many times I have lost count.

Guys, we were at the ranch this weekend and saw more dove and quail than ever before. Really happy how the quail numbers have made a huge comeback. The ranch is lush and green right now and all the animals are thriving. We are also adding 5 new pop up bow blinds this year, which I'm really excited about. Being MLD 3 we can hunt from October through February, rifles, bow, muzzleloader, crossbow, any method you want. Don't wait to book your hunt, spots are filling fast.

Good country, the two biggest free range bucks I have ever seen were on a ranch I managed when I was younger south of Spur. I mean absolute monsters both beaded down along a fence. Miss those days, few neighbors back then.
