I have 4 Moultries of various ages and they work fine. I think the last one I bought was a 990 model.

I have 5 stealth cams and they seem to work great so far. Got them on sale for $59 so it was a bargain.

I bought some Stealth cams that didn't have a delay setting for time between pictures. Big mistake when you have hogs. 2 of them had over 2,000 pics in a week. Since pigs never stop moving around at a feeder, they kept taking pics. My new card viewer was pretty useless with that many pics. I had to take them to the house and use the PC to delete them.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

I'm convinced that game cameras and feeder motors are two worst things about hunting.

I have a hard time hanging any camera that costs over a $100 on a tree in the middle of nowhere unless I have another pointing directly at it
I have used Moultrie, WGI & Stealth Cams
I lean toward the less expensive and easy to set models

Aggravating as s*%t ? Yes! Have ran expensive to cheap, you either get a good one or a turd. Sometimes the exact models can be one of each.

Junk nowadays? I have had 3 Cuddebacks and one Wildgame Innovations camera crap out on me this year. Just when I need them them the most. Just ordered 2 Browning Strike Force. I hope the reviews on them are right. Honestly, I've never had game cameras work right for me. I got tired of burning money...

Must be a bad year for cameras as I also lost 4 this year. In their defense, we did have 32" of spring rain spread over 5 weeks but they are made for outdoor use aren't they? It's interesting that an old Moltrie that I have had for 8 years still works and takes better pics than most of the rest.
This year, I lost 2 WGIs that were only 18 months old. They were the ones with the door on bottom and after every rain when you opened the door to change the SD card, water would run out. I tried everything to seal them but the plastic on those must be porous or something...
The 2 new ones were Primos Truth Cams. The CMOS batteries on both died and they would not keep settings. Every pic had 1-1-10 and 12:01AM but still worked for a month or two after that, then went tits up. The first one lasted 6 months before it lost memory, the second one made it 10 months but both died shortly thereafter. I checked the 3V CMOS battery and both were dead. They were cheap but I expected them to last longer than a year each.
I've had really bad luck with WGI crap this year as I lost the two cameras along with two timers. There is a reason their TDX timers sell for 10 bux on ebay regularly - buyer beware. I won't be wasting any more money on them.....
I don't need multi-mega pixel pictures, GPS, WiFi or any of that crap. I just want a camera that takes pics reliably. I just bought a new Moultrie A5 to try out.

I just bought a moultrie a20 mini. First game cam. It'll serve dual purpose between taking pics of hogs at the ranch and pics of rats/mice/squirrels in attics for my pest control business. I trusted the positive reviews on Amazon to believe that it'll be a good camera.

http://www.gsmoutdoors.com/shopping/wildview/trail-cameras.aspxI have had the best luck with these cheap Wildview Cameras. My last one lasted 9 or 10 years. Can't remember for sure. Pic quality was better than any high dollar camera pic I have seen posted on here, especially at night. These are color pics at night. They've gone up some. The last one I bought was about 40 bucks.

I just changed over from Primos old big 46's (still have4 of them working) to Browings Command OPPs. So far they are looking pretty good. Day pics and videos great. Night time, not so good but trigger speed is nice at less than a second. Have 8 of them out, will see how they do.

I've got 5 Browning Strike force TC's. 3 are 2012 models, the other 2 are 2013 models. They stay out year round. The only problem that I've had on a couple was the battery cartridge ends got corroded, and the camera's wouldn't turn on.
I just took the metal connectors out and cleaned them, put some electric grease on them, put them back in and never had any more issues.

I just purchased the Plotwatcher Pro HD. plotwatcher It is kind of cool if you want to see what is coming in and out of your plots. It takes a picture every 5 seconds and does not miss anything. Negatives are the resolution and does not record at night.
