M and M in Lampasas, not sure if it has been mentioned yet but here is a bump for them if it has. Just dropped our 5th deer to them last night. They are about two weeks turn around and only do one deer at a time, so you get yours back.

Anyone know a processor in the Gatesville area still doing deer? Was able to shoot one with my mld tag this morning and the processor I was going to used is closed for the season. Any info appreciated.

Sorry, I spent the money on meat grinders, slicers, dehydrators, and food savers and now I'm processing everything myself.

Well, I don't want to pat ourselves on the back by any means however, I'm very excited to open back up my dads meat plant that he had open for so many years. In march we reopened dads plant J&S meat processing in Fairfield Tx and I am very thankful that between my dad and the head meat cutter that worked for him for so many years we have got all his old recipes back that we earned so many awards in the past. Getting the recipes back wasn't easy due to my dad having dementia but with everyone's help were on track and looking forward to an awesome deer season and growing back to the business it once was. Please stop by and see us at 180 fm 833e Fairfield Tx 75840 or call 903-389-6169 and try some of our award winning jerky,German links, jalapeņo and cheese summer sausage, or snack sticks. We look forward to taking care of all everyone's processing needs. Have a blessed hunting season!!!
