The one that feels best to you, that's it. Make doesn't matter, well I would stay from HiPoint. HiPoint is fine. I'd stay away from Raven and jiminez though. Fortunately at least Raven is defunct. Jimenez is still in business and is known as one of the "Ring of Fire" companies. Bad juju. Contrary to popular belief HiPoints do run reliably, my issue is they are the most unergononomic handgun I've ever held. I agree. My dad bought a .45 to keep under his driver's seat. What's an unwieldy pistol, but it fed the first 50 fmj and 50 jhp I loaded up perfectly. He hasn't shot it since. It just hangs out in his truck.

G-36.
Best CC for me. A .45 with a punch and with flock reliability and no safety, plus very narrow. I can wear it IWB all day with no trouble. No offense, but G36 is obsolete now that the G30S is out.

Since you are already used to a 1911 platform, check out some of the 3/3.5 inch 1911, or the sig 938.
