Besides once you waste a bullet, gut the stupid thing, skin it,soak it and maranate you could have just gone to the grocery store and bought pork cheap...... No. Yup....wild is 1,000 times better than store bought.....wild pig is good eating!

No. Yup....wild is 1,000 times better than store bought.....wild pig is good eating! Feral pork is THE BEST eating IMO if you learn how to get it done. I just made a batch of smoked sausage from domestic pork (pork butts). I could DEFINITELY tell the difference, and too dang greasy for me. Flavor wasn't even close to the feral pork sausage that I usually make, cut with just the right amount of bacon ends & pieces. I can't count the number of times that I cook feral pork and folks are slappin' their lips..."MAN that's good" bla bla...then I tell them it is feral pork prepared and cooked with love. After that statement some of the slickers look at me like I'm feeding them cat. Good lord, shut up & eat. If it's good, eat it. I'm cooking a big breakfast at 5 AM for the crew Monday morning. There will be (in crock pots) HOT pork, MILD pork, smoked sausage, and chorizo & eggs. All homemade. Toasting torts with all of the fixings. Lots of taco action, it's gonna be good.
