This 8 happens to be a little trashy.

My buddies dad shot this on a hunt in old mexico about 25 years ago. He was a guest. I believe it went 188". I was told at the time it was the largest 8 ever taken. Not 100% sure though.

Here a few of my favs. Some are main frame 8's with trash and others clean 8's.
This 8 grossed mid 140's.

This 8 really grew when he hit the ground. He was close 150 as a main frame 8 with some kickers getting him to 159. Really long beams and great mass for an 8 got him up there in score.

This buck grossed around 164 as an 8 then add in 2" base point to 166".

Not sure what these two bucks scored but this ranch sold that summer. Both were big frame 8 with a kicker or two

This wide 8 grossed around 159 on his 8 frame with 13" or so of kickers you can't see getting him over 173".

Next two bucks were on the ranch the summer it sold. Just big 8 frames.


This buck grossed over 159 on his 8 frame with 24"+ of kickers for over 183" gross.

A THF member killed this weak 9 point that grossed in mid to upper 170's on his 8 point frame.

This buck grossed 159 on his 8 frame with 14" of kickers getting him to 173.
