This. It is my choice for hunting. One shot for a WT, but I have 10 rounds when a sounder shows up to my party. But mine is not an assault weapon. It can only shoot in semi-auto mode.

I can't find any "Assault Ammo" in the stores for some reason. Am I looking in the wrong area?

My first hunting rifle was an M1A w iron sights. I figured perfect for hogs since it was 308 and semi.

AFter a few trips I Didnt think it was a good hunting weapon because it was heavy and it wasnt that accurate especially with iron sights. Not very quick to bring up on target acquisition etc

I ended up selling it for a bolt action, Now I have 2 weapons for hunting hogs a bolt and AR. I just take my pick depending on the hunting situation and what I want to hunt

Anything that shoots will work but does it do it the way you want. Thats the question nobody else can answer but you.

Yes, I massacre deer all the time with my AR10 Assault rifle, I also do it with my 6.8 SPC Assualt rifle and sometimes my 556 AAsault rifle just so that it doesn't feel left out.

Forgot to mention, I also massacre lots of wild hogs with my Assault rifles!!!

In fact, when I go hunting I run charging into the woods as in a full frontal assault yelling allllalallalllaaa !!!!

I have a Bushmaster BR .308 AR 10 I love to hunt with. Large enough caliber to put down anything I come across and great for shooting long distances

Love my A10. Bull barrel is a little heavy to drag around, but it's nice to be able to hit a bottle cap at 150 yards. I have never shot a more comfortable and accurate rifle.
