I switched to a 20 gauge and really like my Remington 11-87(s). I have had no problems killing doves to swan and everything in between with them.

I shoot light target loads to 3 inch number 2s.

Stoeger, franchi for your price range.

I used a yildez for duck, quail, dov3 and has served me well and it was 400.

It may be too much out of your budget but an Ithaca Model 37 is a fantastic pump shotgun.

The new Ithaca's are American made in Ohio.
