I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

This is a lean boar, so he won't be 275 or 300, but I believe he is all of 200-225, possibly more. He comes in with a couple others and this one is the biggest, but all the hogs on this place are all well fed and big.

That pig just isn't that big, the picture is deceiving....His head is small and he hasn't filled out...For reference, how much do you think this pig weighs? The guy next to him is 6'1 and 250 and is standing close to him, not way behind him.

Man I don't know, would guess 175-200 but, pics can be deceiving, esp when animals are hanging. He appears to be about 48-54 inches hanging there but he also appears to have squatch legs and some of that length is leg, so his body may only be in the 36-40 inch range and a 36 inch long hog isn't huge body wise. He does appear to have some girth , but hard to tell how big based on him Hanging and not standing. Initially I thought he would be bigger, but who knows, all I know is he is dead and that's what counts.

Your spot on, 180 but looking at that pig you would think it was well over 250.....That was why I posted it, just that pics are deceiving. The heads are a really good indicator because they grow with the body.

Care to take a stab at the second pic I posted with me sitting behind the hog?

Ok round two...daylight pics. This big boat finally showed tonight during daylight so I can show the same pregnant doe and the hog in comparison again...I tried hard to find a pic where they are both in the same position in relation to the feeder.

Pregnant doe:

Big boar:

Anyone care to guess the weight of the hog now?

As mentioned, I hope to the beasty ground checked this Friday.

He doesn't really look that tall, and he's definitely not very thick as far as pigs go. I shot one a couple months ago that was bigger across the board and he was still shy of 200.

I'd guess right at 100-125.

Hadn't seen new pic, does make him look pretty tall. Still not very thick though - his legs look long because he doesn't have much heft.

Will revise to 150ish.

Ok guys, this furry beast showed up last night and I was able to drop him with the trusty 5.56. It was really wet and muddy but he showed up right on time and presented a shot about 25 minutes later still during daylight. As I had more hogs coming into this setup just after dark I decided to wait to go see him until after the other hogs showed up.

For the record, I did not officially weigh this guy. I simply used the method of heart girth x 10 -200 = weight. He was decent size, not huge, but measured right at 42-43 inches around which equates to about 220-230 lbs. He was a big younger boar, didn't have big cutters or anything, but was just a big body.

Shot another that was slightly bigger in chest size but was shorter in body length. This hog was 46-47 inches in chest girth for an estimated weight of 260-270. He looks much bigger in the pics than the first, but the first was proportionally a much bigger hog so it makes the first look smaller by comparison.
