California quite possibly, NOT South Texas....brush is all wrong. You won't find power-line poles like that in South Texas either.
Looks to be a 'Barr' hog. Don't see evidence of any testicles. That would help explain his exceptional weight and longer than normal 'cutters'.
Lacking the testosterone of an intact Boar...they don't fight or travel as much. Typically this helps them put on weight. Also the cutter usually increase in length..because they don't fight and also don't 'whet/sharpen' the cutter against the 'whetters' very much.
Hog doggers around here castrate many of the Boars they catch (making them Barrs) for just that reason. Bigger , heavier...meaner looking hogs...but of less danger to their dogs.

Nice Big hog with big cutters! Our largest hog on camera but mever met up with in person several years back! Look at that shield on that ugly thing! Still wish i could of laid that one out! I despise them so much, but would probably cry if i didnt have them to throw lead at! Lavaca county

found this on a instagram page with the caption "What a monster hog! Some day I'll get a hog that big!" , looks the same , assume its a pic from Calif.:  the hog is casting a shadow on the far side, looking over the hood of the truck. should there not be a shadow from the front or cab of the truck? or would it be more to the right of picture?
