Midway made me some great smoked sausage but their pan sausage was terrible last year, chunks of gristle and bone. Looking for a new processor to use this year in the Houston area. Price is important but quality is a priority. Thanks for your time.

I just bought a place near Carbon Texas 10 miles south of Eastland and there is a deer processor in Carbon. Has anyone ever used them and if so, where you happy with what you got?

Hey moderators: Any way to get this list placed on an interactive Texas map? Sure would be nice to click on a county and have it pull up the favorite processors in that area

We will be offering deer processing again this year and at a great price. $30 gutting fee, please gut deer in the field. Skinned, quartered, iced 3 days to drain blood and tenderize. Then your choice between hand cut steaks, ground meat, stew, roasts, and fajita slices. All for the same great price of $75 Just drop off your deer and an ice chest and come back and get it in about a week. I also make some tasty jerky at $20 per pound. 5 FLAVORS to choose from. At this time I am not making sausage or taking in any hogs. Thank you for your support my family really appreciates the work.

Fellas (and Gals) - Syracuse, now called Cinnamin Creek, is located not in Keller but in outside of Roanoke, TX. They have done a great job for me over the years on hogs and deer. Cinnamon creek game processing link Best, I agree 100%. Joey and his Dad Anthony run a top notch place and take very good care of their loyal customers. Any custom requests are always done without added charges. I've been using them since their early days in Flower Mound next to Solerno's.

Prairie Dell Meats near Salado is good. They make excellent sausage. I used them for a couple of beef calves this summer, too.

Wild Country in Lindsay is great! Lindsay is just West of Gainesville. You bring in your deer and that's what you get back! That is important to me because some hunters don't know how to take care of their deer. Eric and Jim are great guys. The buck bites are awesome!

The Rust Plant between Cisco and Eastland has new owners. I met her today and hope they do well. They offer regular processing as well as taxidermy. Prices are about the same. Sure hate to see Kevin go but glad somebody local came in. The couple is out of Putnam....he works for the Will's as n electrician nd she will be running the plant.

Yes Sir it is. And their rubs and salad dressings rock too. Best sausage I've had, hands down.

NOT Gorman's in Terrell!!
Never again!! I was somewhat satisfied with my game processing, even though they had to correct several items when I picked up, until I had some questions about the yield I received after processing. Went back to inquire with the owner and he refused to speak to me in a professional manner to address my concerns. He said he wouldn't discuss it and demanded that I leave, and threatened to call the police on me. Very unprofessional.
I purposely went in with the mindset of simply inquiring if he thought that what I received was proper yield for what I brought in, 4 hams, 3 shoulders, neck, back straps, etc. He became quite defensive and refused to discuss it. As I left he was rambling about not wanting to do game processing any more and that I wouldn't have to deal with him in the future because he was selling out to his cousin in a couple of months. I can't make this stuff up, lol. So, if you're thinking of going here, DON'T!!
