Two thoughts...
I usually say to let a buck like that walk, unless you need the meat.
But...
If he is a 2.5yr old and you let him walk, he may very well become one of those ugly narrow racked mature bucks that are not legal based on antler restrictions.
With that second thought in mind.....
If you have a good deer population, maybe you take him out just to be safe.
Tough call....
