Called Camera Land one time and the person I spoke with was a real tool. Hung up on him, called back and asked for Neil. Mission accomplished. Only thing I've purchased from SWFA was a Timney trigger. Service was excellent.

Don't get me started on Optics Planet though.

Am I crazy, is a second focal scope the same price as a first focal?
And when did they make a second focal in that 3-15x42 model?

Hey Cleric, who are your preferred vendors? The vendors that always do things right?

Why are you so hurt that he reports his experiences with SWFA? Nothing he's stated sounds made up or anything but the way his interaction went. Yet you are trying to make a point about how his experiences aren't valid. I don't care one way or another for SWFA. Well I have a SS from them that is a turd but I bought it used and cheap so I should have known. Their mobile site is horrendous and very difficult to navigate. Their lack of real time inventory is a joke in today's world. They just don't do much from the outside looking in to grab me as a customer. There have been plenty of people with negative interactions, though that's expected with any business. I guess with the lack of keeping with the times I don't have a lot of desire to order from SWFA. I'm sure though for having this opinion I'll get blasted by you with some sarcastic remark.

I do agree that the mobile site is absolutely awful. They make you click on ever individual model and magnification rage of scope offered instead of one page with all options on drop down menus.

Click on the "view full site" button at the very bottom center of the page. Works more gooder.

Nope. It's just been my experience that some folks almost never have positive experiences in their life.

Im trying to talk myself out of a SWFA S.S.A.L.T mount that I don't really need but 29 dollars seems like too good of a deal to pass.

Yea, my order came in just fine. Ya know I didn't start this as a bitch secession, I was just curious because it was my first time ordering from them. Was it good? Yes, except I had no idea when it was coming in till the guy handed me the box but that I believe that was due to USPS getting in the way. Would I order again, yes.

Just got an email saying the Timney Trigger spring kit I purchased for my Browning A-Bolt is on back order. Hope they get it in soon.

I don't remember seeing it but also could have missed it. Im not putting blame on SWFA just saying at least I got an email rather than just letting me sit and wonder.

They don't have inventory on their website. I know of alot of people who have ordered and then been told their item was on backorder.

Skylar has always taken great care of me, as well as anyone else I've dealt with at SWFA. I've done business with them for many years with great service. Skylar is the kind of guy that will go above and beyond to help you...just give him the opportunity.

I have bought several scopes from SWFA, and turned a few other folks that way as well. Always good service and no problems. I will be using Skylar again here in a couple of months for another riflescope.
