I'm gonna try a new spot that doesn't have any blinds or feeders this afternoon. May bang some horns together and see what happens. Hopefully the sun coming out this afternoon will get them moving again. Had pretty good deer movement before the ice/rain storms. Any luck yesterday?

Seems like it should be about time for the second rut to fire up....going out this morning and will hunt again this afternoon. What's everybody else seeing?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I hunt western Taylor/eastern Nolan, have seen a bunch of does and bucks on camera but mostly nocturnal. Is it just me?

The Lubbock Boys report almost no deer activity during daytime hours. But the hogs are keeping everyone happy, happy, happy. With all the rain, lots of wheat and plenty of water to go around.
coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

Hunted Saturday and only the does and young bucks were moving in daylight. Headed back out Thursday night for a few days...the man-child is wrapping up his final exams and will be home from school so we're looking forward to a few good days at the lease. Looks like its going to be pretty warm Friday so I'll be curious as to whether anything moves by the light of day. Hopefully will have some pics to post by the end of the weekend...and this time, something other than a hog...
