I may need to make one like that with my sling shot in my backyard when I get a limit with a bunch of rocks a piece of a tree and an old oversized rubberband.

While the city bus may do a perfectly functional job of getting us to work each day, I believe that most would prefer to make the commute in a Corvette or Cadillac, according to taste. It's very easy to enjoy nice things.

I've killed dove with every gun i've ever owned but had a chance to use a 28 ga. O/U a few years back and was in dis belief at how lethal it was. My limit that afternoon was quick and effortless with the light weight little gun with no recoil. So to choose a perfect dove gun for me would be a 28 ga. O/U with an Italian birth certificate.

Remington 1100 will probably get the nod opening day... But I did just buy a browning Maxus, and it's gonna be hard to explain why I just spent that much $$$ and not be using it the first chance I get to the fiancé. She'll be there with her sx3

Opening morning it WILL be the Browning Sweet Sixteen. If I am shooting white wing in the evening it will be Rem. Wingmaster 16 gauge.( or maybe the newest Browning full choke standard weight 16) The ultimate gauge for dove is the 16 anyway.

Those Urika's are nice guns. Hard to come by used. Yes they are. I just wish I had gone with the 28" barrel. Bought one in a kids model for the wife, 21" barrel. I put a big boy butt stock and use it as a loaner for quail hunts. No one complains.
There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I'll probably catch alot of grief over this, but my preferred shotgun is the Mossberg 500C 20ga with 26" chambered for 2-3/4" and 3" with a modified choke. My shotgun started off as a 500C Persuader but I got a Youth Bantam 26" barrel and I love it. I am a big guy, 6' and 250 lbs and I prefer the 20ga for the lighter weight and easier handling that the 12ga or 16ga. Plus, if I mess it up, I am not out a grand like I would be if I had one of the 3-B's. I also like a pump over a semi-auto because it makes me concentrate on my shot better and not burn through all three rounds without aiming. You tend to make your shot count more if you know that 1 may be all you get.
