For bow hunting it's my Gili Suit with nothing on under it. Too damn hot in October otherwise.

Yeah, but what Deer can see and what people can see are totally different. Now, I got my first set of matching jacket and pants for the first time just last year. And i got it because I wanted it. But I also have shot (rifle) a deer in an exposed tripod seat in a red flannel hunting jacket. (Think Elmer Fudd)

Real key though to VISUALLY fooling the deer is just breaking up your pattern. But scent control and wind knowledge is more important.


Now, I have yet to take a deer successfully with a bow where the distance is do much shorter, but got a good feeling for this weekend.
