I carry both Taiga and Bison. Both are hands down better than Yeti, Pelican, Rtic, etc

I have a Yeti 45 that I really like. Kinda small for big game but perfect for any beverages I need to keep cold on a trip. The only other experience I have with a roto molded cooler are the Kodi coolers that are sold by HEB.

I vote for Bison coolers. I've been using them since they came out in 2011. They are better, with more features, than Yeti. And they are cheaper. I love mine!
Thanks,
Marty

Taiga Coolers have a LIFETIME WARRANTY, Yeti, Bison do not, Pelican is limited on case only/ 90 days on rubber components
Grizzly has a lifetime also. Big fan of grizzly

I appreciate this conversation. Couple of us are at the fire station comparing features and we are liking the Pelicans.
Two of us are in the market for 150 qt. Does anyone know a Pelican dealer?

Type of latches Anti-skid feet, and the ability to change them into sliding feet Built in tie-downs Drain types and/ or more than one drain Internal basket (great for keeping a sandwich out of the water) Handle types and number of handles Built in wheels, or not
What did I forget?
I have come to the conclusion that I am treating these high end coolers just like any other tool. Buy a quality tool and you will be happier with its' performance and you will not have to replace it often, if ever.

Just be cautious of all the "lifetime warranties" on the market and be sure to read the fine print. They typically exclude anything that can go wrong with a cooler including latches, hinges, rope handles, drain plugs, etc.
Our 5-year warranty covers just about everything. We've replaced several dozen latches free of charge that were chewed off by dogs. If you lose a drain plug, email us and we'll send you a new one. We pride ourselves in customer service and never want to leave a customer unsatisfied.

I've had great luck with the coleman xtreme coolers. Hold ice 80% as long as a yeti, and cost about 20% as much. Even if I hit a string of bad luck on breaking latches or handles, I can buy 4 of them and still be ahead. We have 8 that we use catering.
