I just put the address in Google maps and realized I've been there once before. It was several months ago....he had some CCI for a not so enticing price. I'll try again some day soon.

Last time I was in there and he had some, he was selling for 35-40 something a brick. He may be a little lower now. Too much for me to pay for bulk. He is a good guy though and I have used him for some FFL transfers.

Now, if you want a good laugh on pricing go into the ACE hardware store next to him and take a right when you walk in. They sell ammo at stupid ridiculous prices. They were really laughable during the height of the panic.

Worse than P&B in Whitesboro who took six months to realize then super jacked the prices?

I would have never thought to go in ACE but I have no reason to go to Pilot Point either unless they have good deals there. I resisted being specific about the prices because I cannot remember if he had .22WMR for $25 per 50 or .22LR for $17 per 100. It was one of the two (CCI).

With Cabelas, depending on the particular 22 loading, you can often order 5 boxes of 50 per day shipped free to your nearest store, string a few days back to back and you can accumulate enough to make it worth the trip.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

I think they give you 30 days to pick it up. I've done that around Christmas when I know I'll be making the trip for gifts anyway.

I'm still looking for any 22 subsonic rounds. The cci quiet isn't the round I'm looking for. Cci makes a sub sonic 22 round not the quiet round. Remington makes some too. If anyone sees any subsonic 22 please post up or let me know

Still waiting for you to post your general location. Someone near you might share.

CCI Standard is a good subsonic ammo. Wolf Match Target also. You'll have to go online, order, and wait.

How many rounds you looking for? Have a need, or just stocking up? Some of us have laid in years ago...

The Allen Cabelas had standard velocity CCI ammo yesterday or the day before; there was a ton of it and they also had a ton of bulk Thunderbolt.

Not far then. I will look and see if I can help. Maybe a trade can work.

Lots of it at the Wichita Falls show but you may not want to drive that far.
