All Seasons makes a galv. metal funnel with a 4" throat that you can put your tube on. Then mount the funnel/feed tube over your slinger and have a timered feeder if you do not have a funnel on the feeder that is below the bottom of the barrel. Put your control box on the side of the feeder with solar and run wires to motor/slinger under the feeder in normal location. Yes sir I have made something like this already. It even has an access door on the side to check the timer when needed.

I would feed corn with a little protein multiple times per day once they get used to the new setup. Then increase to an amount you can live with. Should work fine.

No protein head yet just the broadcast enclosure with a long tube until I know my head type and required height.
