Shot a bunch today with the .22 rim fire. Inflicted the .22 paralyzing agent. Stalked them on foot for a close shot then ran them down with some follow up taps. I have tried to download some pictures and it just spins. So 229 + 5 = 234 north east tx

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

Shot small boar at night three weeks ago.
Went hogdogging with some friends on my place yesterday morning and got 4 more.

234 + 5 = 239.

Cheers,

Finally got them pics to go through. The one staring at me got slowed down by its own boggy rooted up field and got one in the back from the 39m.carbine and then one in the neck.

Can't feed or bait them out there.. Any suggestions? Find an active trail and sit?

Man if you can just take off walking in the dark with light and weapon occasionally stopping and listening. Hogs are a noisy bunch. A lot of squealing, chomping, grunting, tromping and leaf sifting. Ive zeroed in on hogs in the dark that were hundreds of yards away just by listening. Make sure you make your wind adjustment as needed. They have excellent noses and don't like the way we smell. You can scout some fresh hog sign in the day and move in on it at night. Don't worry when the gun goes bang they haul [censored] away from you. If ive killed 1000 hogs 500 were at night. Those public hunting hogs are more than likely nocturnal from extra pressure. Some hogs are pressure sensitive to the point that they are easily driven out to another property. Also when your in the fresh presence of a mature hog you will more than likely smell it before you see it, so get ready for some action. Hogs can get a little disoriented at night when the lead starts to fly, so watch out for those stray runners. Good luck and be safe. Safety glasses are good at night so that you don't get a tree limb in the eye or stickers. csi

Thanks Realkiller!

I guess I'll need to find me a buddy to go with! Don't want to get stuck by a stray pig. I appreciate the advice! I'll give it a shot!

Hog man, we've taken down a total of 4 hogs this year. 3 of them were by stalking/walking and only 1 in our blind, though we've seen 3(game cams have picked up probably 15). The one I posted above was taken last night. Parked the truck, made a 15 minute walk down to the river. It had just rained and we spotted fresh tracks into some brush right along the river. 2 people went into the brush and I stayed outside of the brush on the sand ready for him to run. We saw the brush move and knew it was on. We were literally out of the vehicle for 15 minutes before we had a hog down. Sometimes it goes like that, sometimes you see nothing for trips on end.

I've gotten ten since the first of the year. Here are five of them. Guess that takes the count to 255.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
