Tuff, those are some great bucks. What does the club do proactively to limit members and keep from "shooting the place out" as is very historic for many "hunting clubs" in Texas hunting history, especially those which were rather prolific in South Texas in the 1960s-mid 1970s? South Texas hunting clubs are about like the Woolly Mammoth nowadays. Curiosity more than anything else.

We only have 8 members on 3100 acres and we try weed out the meat hunters as best we can before they become members or at least convince them to kill mature does. The president of the club also does a great job managing the property and the members. I have been a member since 2006 and it has always been a good lease, but two years ago we cut the membership in half and started feeding protein year round plus planting summer and fall food plots. It is a lot of hard work but unless we go thru another bad drought I think we have a bright future

main frame 10pt had both brow tines broke off gross score 155. brow tines were app. 5" long. that extra 10" would have made a big difference.
