Shooter class 8 we call goofy at north feeder.

Doe in road 30 yards fr south feeder

Goofy left. Cows came through and ran for off but she came back. Got cows in road to the north and a spike and 4pt just showed up at north feeder.

Lots of cows in north road now 6pt came in and ran doe out of road. Another just joined the 6 at south feeder. Just heard close shot maybe guy next to me.

Guy next to me shot a nice 8. I think it was Goofy. He actually shot him twice once in the right shoulder and again in the high spine ribs area. Saw him drop and watched him for a few minutes then drove to the feeder and he was gone.

I got a text to come help and we had good blood and bone fragments. Followed for about 50 yards and I think I bumped him from the creek bed he ran into. Followed good sign then started to get pretty scarse. Last blood was at about 4 different trails he couldn't have gone down and no more blood. Ran out of light and with us bumping him once we decided to back out and going to follow up tomorrow morning.

3 does and 4pt at north feeder, 2 does and broken 6 at south feeder

2yo 9 pt, 2 4pts and a spike at north feeder. Doe in road to north. Goofy just showed up so not sure which buck got shot last night. And single doe at south feeder.

tis one of the se7en dwarfs. tis glad they didn't cull him. any report on the deer that got hit?

We followed blood for I don't know how long. He went into a creek bed followed that for awhile then made it up the other side and crossed the ranch road to the power lines and followed light blood along a trail. Lost it then found more blood on another trail and eventually where he bedded up. Several good spots if blood then nothing at all.

Hopefully he will show back up but who knows. I am headed back home today.

dang, that's one tough deer. have lost a deer. we spent 1/2 day. then i spent all next morning, till time ta leave. can only blame myself. best wishes on rest of hunt. take it U not been seeing any hogs. nothen been showing up on cams here. best wishes

U meen de part about no hogs around here, congrates on the two U took. got 24-7-365 ta hunt em. not finding wounded deer, ya that sucks. sounds like they did best they could though. on bright side, it not Snow White & the six dwarfs.

I would rather it had been goofy who us 4 and didn't do much from last season. Instead it was an up and comer 8 pt with lots of potential and he will probably shoot another buck since we didn't find him which jeans 2 less deer for next year.

i understand the loss. U meen, shooter class 8. Ya'll give the other hunter the culled shoulder whin this happens.

It is what it is. It just sucks that this buck was talked about between 2 of the guys on the lease earlier and the guy agreed that he needed another year and then ends up shooting him. There were several other 4.5-5.5 year old bucks in his area that would have been a better target. I think he was just wanting to shoot a buck and it really didn't matter.

More pissed off that our bucks for next year are dwindling especially like this.

My brother is planning on going back down from Thanksgiving through Sunday morning. Hopefully he can catch up to his big 9pt on camera.
