I'm in eastern Atascosa county and I have/had one that looked just like that, saw him Saturday. Looks just like him with the long brow tines.
Congrats!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Hard to tell looking at the picture, but he's a nice looking mature buck 3 1/2 or older. Good job!

Nice buck mathman, i'll be going out too the lease right after work tomorrow the winds are suppost to be strong 20-25 mph hope it doesn't keep them from moving. I hunt off 791 and cr road 416 also eastern atascosa.

They should still be moving. Rut is on hard now. Last Saturday lots were chasing and this one I called in rattling. He came running at me. I don't think wind matters during the rut.

Hope you get something.

Just stepped into the blind, 20ft in the air with the wind blowing the way it is gets the heart pumping. Well just had a small spike walk by so I'm hoping that is a good sign for better movement this evening. I'll keep updating.
