Geese for the next week or so...lots of work, but fun when they are finally mounted Stephen/Buffalo Ridge...Love that Repro Whitetail!

Hey Larry the Taxidermist, I mean Birdworks.....I hope my Pintail turns out that nice. Knowing you it'll probably have bubba teeth won't it? Just don't give it the chewin' tobacco drool trail down it's chin.

Here is my first ever Euro that I just finished.

Thanks again to all you THF members that help me along the way.

You are probably wondering about the apparent damage to the right eye socket. The "deformity" was there when I skinned the animal. I think it was either some sort birth defect or was caused by an injury, possibly during a fight. The odd part is the animal did not look deformed in any way when I took it. Here's a pic of the deer the day it was killed.

Ok, here is about 10 days worth of work. No finish work has been done, as they are still drying. A total of 2 impalas, 2 blue wildebeest, 2 blesbok, 1 gemsbok, and 2 whitetails...also an opossum not pictured...lol

Thanks,
LadyT

Birdworks is gonna make me get back into duck hunting so i can get something mounted (and i hate that cold wet duck hunting conditions!)

When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.
