Janie, I hope you're wrong. We both get our drinking water from Lavon. BTW, this hasn't stopped developers from building massive subdivisions around here, with no consequences, yet. They should be required to add rainwater harvesting systems to houses they build.


I read on the Internet where a water district up north somewhere is trying to ban rainwater harvesting. That water doesn't belong to you. If you capture it, it won't run off into the lakes and that effects everyone else.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Birddog, I read an article about a guy in California who is facing jail time for collecting the runoff from his roof.
