daniel defense all day over all of those, even RRA. Way better ergonomics straight out of the box and overall lighter

Just to update, ended up going with a dd m4v3. After research it seems that dd builds quality rifles and their cs is top notch. Tough job finding one and spent a little more than I wanted to but looks like you get more for your money with the dd. Excited to see how it'll run mext month.

More for your money? Last I checked, they were pretty expensive. So you must got a LOT.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

RRA is a great choice but they are overly heavy for what they are imo.... other than that they are GREAT I agree, I've carried a RRA for several years and they are heavy RRA +3

This may rile some feathers, but I question Colt's QA/QC, they have slipped a bit and are riding on their names. If i were choosing, I would go DD. Thats just my .02

If you shop around you can probably find a DD upper for a great deal. Slap that on what ever lower you like. Call it a day. That way it also has a personal touch to it.
I have seen DD uppers with CH and BCG for as cheap as just over 400, but only once. I wouldn't expect to get one for that cheap. I would also look at BCM.
