I know there have been threads in the past on this..but I still haven't seen anything to make me pull the trigger yet
Looking to build a new setup for hanging up deer. I've got plenty of 2'' and 2 7/8'' pipe laying around along with some perlin and sheet metal. Don't want to go too overboard but I want something a little more than your typical A frame. I'm thinking of building it for 2 deer setup vs just a single. Any pics or input would be appreciated.

This is all you need. We can hang up to 3 deer.
If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

I have seen several like the one above made of metal. It is easy to add a boat crank to hoist deer or large hogs.

This is all you need. We can hang up to 3 deer. I think you need legs coming off each end to form a tri pod, looks like it could move end to end
hold on Newt, we got a runaway

Think your over thinking it amigo.. Get a solid structure, trees if there available or build a good tripod and hand cranks and a tie off rope to keep it from spinning..build you a good floor to keep from standing in Mud..

I use a rope over a tree limb. A gambrel on one end of the rope and the other dallied to the hitch ball on my truck. I guess you need to be where there are trees, though. Thanks!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

I dressed and skinned quite a few deer on the ground growing up and now, it sure seems a lot easier to let gravity do the work when dressing. Hang 'em butt down, start at the bottom and let the guts fall in a bucket. Heck of a lot easier to keep 'em clean too, at least for me. Easiest thing to do is skin and quarter without even messing with the insides!

I have gutted quite a few on the ground or tailgate of the truck/Ranger. No way in hell is it easier than being strung up....

Never took a full picture for some reason but this was my favorite to work with... blood drain in the pad made cleaning up easy... screen on the drain to catch meat, skin..etc to be tossed away from the site. There were 3 winches with remotes hanging down along with one that had a scale on it at all times.. capping table which I wasn't really a fan of.. id rather have them hanging to cape... sink and deboning tray with tub that meat was thrown into and taken to the walkin to sit until morning.... it was a little much but the number of animals we could knock out in an hour was pretty crazy... most me and two others did in a night was 19 if im thinking right. Now I use a tree in my backyard and have two saw horses with a piece of plywood on top not to far from the water well
