Great report, great pictures and what a bull. AK is getting higher on my bucket list and I want this hunt bad, but this dumb Texan has to have some kind of local guide to keep me from doing something stupid (and deadly). Is there such a thing as "semi-guided" that won't break the bank?

70 inches is massive. The current world record taken last year in the Yukon is 75 5/8.

I was in Kansas hunting whitetail with my muzzleloader all last week. I sent those pics to my old boss...so he might be calling you about hunt info.
