I just like poking you with a stick. I know what you're saying is true, but it's still fun.

if you are shooting at a feeder from your "blind" in a situation that requires more fine adjustment than .05 mil. Then we need to have a conversation about your blind set up... you could put 3 feeders in at that kind of distance. That or you are shooting ants off the feeder

Also, you need to talk about at what point the scope adjustments have almost nothing to do with it because you can't hold it in that range of sway....

As for toughness... Leopold and Nightforce are the gold standard, along with Schmidt and bender maybe a few others. Vortex is a hard charging great young company with a lot of followers, I am one of them, I would give Vortex a shot because of overall value...

To me if your planning on shooting farther than 400 regularly then FFP and turetts that match your reticle are the way to go... I personally like MIL MIL because I think the math is easier...

This rifle build will be a dual purpose rifle. It will be used for hunting at our ranch(furthest shot on whole ranch is 400 yards). So any scope will work with that! I had my daughter shooting 8" balloons at 500 yards the other day using my AR 15 .223 with a Nikon M223 3x-12x

I'm also wanting to stretch the distance to over 1000. So, this scope will overkill for hunting but just right for 1000k+ shoots on steel. Im not looking to shoot animals at extreme long ranch.

I purchased it through Liberty Optics for $2599 shipped to my door. I ended up going with a 20 MOA base since a flat base only gave me 12 mils of elevation adjustment in the turrets. With the 20 MOA base, I can now dial all 20 mils.

As far as a review, the scope has really clear glass, 7 different levels of illumination(2 for night vision), is light weight, short in length and the TMR reticle is nice. In this particular model, there is a small dot for the center of the reticle. I think other Mark 6 models don't have this dot( not 100% sure though) with the TMR.

I haven't had a chance to use it at long range yet. I just now got the load developed for it. My 13 yo daughter did shoot a buck with it yesterday. Saturday was the first time for her to shoot this rifle/scope. Here is her first two shots. The first one was dead center

My daughter challenged one of the guys there to see if he could shoot better. His target is on the left and hers on the right. This was shot at 100 yards

I'm very pleased with this scope. I will know more when I get it on the long range

I'd like to check that scope out. I bet it's nice. Congrats on teaching your daughter how to handle a rifle and congrats to the both of you for the buck!
