With one hunter per acre I'm sure the dove in Frisco will be blasted out of the county by day 6. Your probably right. I'll let you know if I see any

With one hunter per acre I'm sure the dove in Frisco will be blasted out of the county by day 6. Hum..make it 10 hunters per acre and make it day 2 1/2.

What happened was...... A few years ago the Texas State Legislature changed the laws to allow hunting in the city limits. They said Texas was becoming so urbanized that dads couldn't even do a little dove hunting with their sons anymore. They changed the law, you can now hunt in the city limits with restrictions. That superceded city ordinances.
Lo and behold, one September first morning, a bunch of homeowners were awakened by the sound of shotgun fire and flooded the 911 switchboards with calls.
The news media (always on top of the latest) responded for a few years with annual reports.
