Y'all sound like you have some good burger joints around there. Wish we had a few out this way. In Nash, the Roadrunner has the best. Around here we have Booger's Burgers - ever looking for a good burger? Pick Booger's... J/K

The old diamond inn in Taylor used to be the best I've ever had. Now my favorite is ed's place in taylor. Just a little hole in the wall bar but wonderful burgers!!

http://www.dutchshamburgers.com/After 40+ years I've found the ultimate burger at Dutch's on the TCU campus. After every bite of the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger I enjoyed with a cold Shiner before the TCU Baseball game last night, I found myself muttering "Oh Man" to the delight of the surrounding patrons. You will NOT be disappointed!

Yes, Herd's is still the KING of TX Burgers. Kincaids are bigger, but there is no contest on the flavor. At least 1 a week, sometimes 2 if I'm lucky. Double-Double all the way with a cold Big Red. Can't beat it.

Storm's in Burnet or Lampasas is easy #1.
ALthough Mighty Fine on Mopac and 360 in Austin is one good place, just a bit pricey though.

Because when I am eating a Herd burger it's usually too early for a beer.

This is true. On Saturdays I will vary my routine to curb my appetite for the hops and barley that my burger does not contain.

If you are ever going through Canton or going to Canton trades days...... The dairy palace has some of the best burgers. We are always stopping on our way to and from the lease in Palestine.
