David has addressed that question in his post in the lease forum.
I have joined his club for this season and I,m looking forward to hunting on a club where guided hunts are,nt priority one.

For all who still don't understand or know..No Chris Slemp was who I helped when he was thinking of buying Double R Hunting Club. I was told to do so has he was thinking about taking it over the next year. The owner didn't sell to him, and didn't want to I was told. So I guess Chris Slemp is still running his own thing? Therefor no Chris has not and will not be any part of Riceland Waterfowl Club. I've been around for 34 years doing the waterfowl business in some form, guess I always will. I started this club myself and we do not even guide on it except for the seasonal members when asked to. We are about the club and it's members. Sorry if anyone thought different about me.

David your name sounds real familiar, did you ever work with Scott Cleary?

Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

I did but only till about 3/4 through Oct. after teal season a few years back. Only lasted about 3 1/2 months. I had my reasons for leaving but will not post them. Also I wish no one a bad season, from being a hunter or guide co. How anyone runs a co is up to them. And I wish everyone a great waterfowl season!

I would look at Run-N-Gun Adventures for costal and ask for Nick. I've always been impressed by the amount of work Nick puts into a guided hunt.

Did a couple of Cast and Blast with Kelly Parks, and had a excellent time.
He's in Port O'Conner.

Close to home(for me) Waller, Brookshire area, Waterfowl and Gamebird Outfitters. Justin, Jr, and Cory are the guides I know personally.

I'm sure there are more out there, but these are the ones I have hunted with.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.
