Does anyone know the dimensions so we can once again question with confidence the story so and so tells about the 8 footer that's big around as your leg and weighs 150 lbs?

Only thing record breaking about that one is its the longest pole used to make a snake look bigger.

Ever wonder why these "record" rattlesnakes are NEVER displayed next to a measuring tape?

They have been arguing this for days on TBH. I called as well. Everyone wants to see it by a tape but I haven't seen that happen yet. I think they finally pulled the plug on the thread though.

Who cares if its 6ft are 8ft!!! That's one big snake and I for one would not want to get near that thing with a tape measure, dead or alive!!!

LOL, people find and people kill 'big snakes' with some regularity. That isn't all that special. The issue isn't if it is big, but if it is a "world record" as proclaimed and of a size and weight proclaimed.

As for the tape measure, how do we know if it is the 8'8.5" claimed. Obviously somebody used a tape measure to get such a specific length, so where is the picture or video of it being measured, huh? They have a weight, so were are the scales on which it was weighed?

Interesting! My tree pruner is just like the one in the picture so measure from his hand position to the ends and it's close to 7 1/2 ft. The rope operating the pruner seem to mysteriously disappear from the end yet reappear down around his knee. Medium size snake held 7 to 8 ft out in front and pretty obvious another section of snake was photoshopped in the middle. Have fun gang.

I dont think it's real either but I can clearly see the rope come from his right hand & down to his leg.

That would be a few hatbands, a belt and a bucket of fried chicken tasting grub!!
