What are the CMMG MK3 CBR rifles going for?

I absolutely trust my DPMS Recon for any hunting or shooting needs appropriate for the .308 round.

I would also seriously consider the CMMG MK3 CBR. It was not available at the time I purchased the DPMS. However, I don't have regrets.

I got mine from buds about a month ago for $1650 after FFL fee.

I am in the exact same boat as the OP. Hopefully this isn't a highjack but will allow for a little more information for us all. Would yall suggest gas driven or piston? I have been eyeballing the Rem R-25 and the Ruger SR 762. I just read two magezine articles praising the DPMS Gen 2 and Rock River LAR 8 X-1. Decisions decisions.

I actually went from a POF piston gun to the CMMG gas gun. I guess it is personal preference, but have heard suppressed piston guns are still really loud compared to gas guns.

I have a Bushmaster AR10 ORC with a Vortex Crossfire scope with illuminated reticle. Works great for hog hunting.
