I am usually a clean freak with my guns (internals), I hate having a gun jam or having to spend extra because of my negligence. With this said, I have been shooting my Versa Max all year without cleaning it. I have over 1,000 rounds through it so far. I am going to continue this pattern until it jams. I want to see how far it can go. I shot this exact gun at the range during an investor meeting last year and fell in love with it. I bet it had over 2,000 rounds through it that day alone. The rep helped clean it and I bought it.

I am smart enough to bring a back-up with me in case the inevitable happens. I am thinking about doing the same with my SBE 2, so I can see which one lasts longer without cleaning.

I own a new A5. I bought it before the season last year. I shot it during one teal hunt and then it would cycle any more. It turned into a single shot. Most of the time it would dry fire as well. I took it to a certified Browning service center and they worked on it for a few weeks. They couldn't fix it. They sent it back to Browning who eventually replaced to whole gun. Turns out they had a production run get messed up. The machines weren't aligned properly and it caused the guns to be out of alignment. My serial numbers are 12345(no joke). Stay away from guns with numbers close to that.

Forgot to add. It shoots sweet now. I love the way it shoulders and the line of sight with the humpback design. Plus it makes me feel old school.
